Host or Host & Play
Host for a group of your friends or Host & Play at the same time. Manage the game from your device.
Set Up Your Game
- Log In: Open your mobile device's browser and log in to your account.
- Purchase the Episode : If you haven't already, purchase the desired episode (e.g., The Aurnapse Project).
- Select the Episode : Choose the episode you want to play from your dashboard.
Connect Main Display
- Open Browser on TV: On your TV or main display, open the browser and navigate to PlayWDE.com
- Enter Game Code: Input the game code displayed on your device to sync the game to your main display.
- Adjust Sound: Use your TV's volume controls to set the desired sound level.
Invite Players
- Assign Suspects: Decide which suspect each player will portray.
- Join the Game: Ask each player to visit PlayWDE.com using their mobile device.
- Player Details: Players should enter their name and gender, then click "Join."
- Confirm Participation: As players join, you'll see their names appear in your host view.
Start Playing!
- Ready to Play: Once all players have joined, you're ready to begin.
- Begin the Game: As the host, click "Start Game" to initiate the adventure.
- Follow Instructions: The game will guide you through each scene.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
- Hosting & Playing on the Same Device:
If you’re both the host and a player on the same computer or tablet, you’ll need two browser sessions. The easiest way:
- Open your regular browser window to host the game.
- Open a new incognito/private window to log in as your suspect character. This keeps the host and player sessions separate so the game runs smoothly.
- Separate Devices (Optional): Alternatively, you can simply use another device (like a phone or tablet) to play your suspect role while hosting from your main device.
- Browser Compatibility: Make sure everyone is using an up-to-date browser.
- Internet Connection: A stable internet connection will give the best experience.
